 Chapter 3: Child Day 6

Promises associated with His Name:

A Child can be one of life's greatest blessings opening you again to wonder, renewing your amazement at God's good plan for the future.  Little wonder that a child was God's first promise to the world. 

The Christ child has always been identified as the fulfillment of the promise to crush satan our worst enemy and lead us back to paradise. 

Promises in Scripture:

Genesis 3:14-15 - So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and shall call His name Immanuel.

Isaiah 9:6-7 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Matthew 18:2-4 -Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 9:48 - and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”

Father,

    I thank You and praise You for promising a child who will reign forever with His justice and righteousness. We are so blessed that You gave Jesus to us that He willingly gave His life for us so that we can have a future of love and praise with You. I ask that You fulfill that promise soon and take us home to heaven.

Sunday June 8, 2025 - Light of the World!!

 Chapter 2: Light of the World Day 1 Jewish Tradition one name of Messiah is Light Jesus is Light of the World. John's Gospel says that Jesus is the Light that vanquishes the darkness brought on by sin ending in death. We who believe in Him have passed from darkness to light from death to life.  Let us ask Jesus to make us shine with His reflective glory.  John 8:12 -  Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,  “I am the light of the world. He who   follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” Father,      I ask that You help me shine for You to the girls and be a blessing in life to them. Help me to love them with Your unconditional life and send them the best letters and devotionals that I can send. Give me life and love for my girls and keep me shining for You.  In Jesus Name,      Amen

Immanuel Father,      I thank You and praise You for this wonderful study that You have given me. It is so good and helping me to learn to praise You better in my prayers.
