Chapter 7: King of Kings Day 3

Praying the Name:

John 3:3-8 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born? "Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Father,

I want to praise You Lord for building a kingdom that will endure. No one on earth has stood strong for always, they come and they fall. Even the great America is falling down dead. We were strong and mighty in You but now we are horrible and evil people. I just praise You that one day soon You will come and set up Your kingdom in heaven and earth and we will be with You for eternity. Reigned in the mighty works of Jesus. Thank You Father for that kingdom and our King Jesus.

Thank You and Praise You for calling me to You. I am so blessed to know that You are my King and that all the mistakes I made in the past do not count toward whether I go to heaven or hell. I thank You for saving my soul and keeping me from all the things that I could have been if I did not have You in my life.

I do not think I try to force or pressure others to come to You. If I do forgive me and help me go about it the right way. I retired Elizabeth's story so that all the talk of praying like Jesus and asking Jesus in was not on the story so harshly. Thank You for keeping me giving the girls things to think about even if they are small now.

Thank You for Your invitation that entrusted my life with king Jesus and want to come to Him and reign forever. Father I want to reign with You but I want to be working in a camp for the children in the millennium and help them find You real in their lives. I have no idea what we will be doing in heaven, but I trust You to give us what we need to live happy lives there. Praising You and enjoying our opportunity to spend time with others that truly love You too.

God use me as an invitation to bring others to You. The girls are my mission field and I want to say and do what You desire.

In Jesus Name,

    Amen

Have you ever thought about the challenges about being the king of presiding over a large group of people who are each different. It can be hard to get them to act responsibly.

One way is to force them like some countries, the tendency to control even tries to control in free countries.

But God's kingdom presided over by the most powerful ruler in the universe operates on entirely different principles, its integrity depends not on external force but on the internal indestructible power of Christ's love our King begins by inviting never compelling us to join His kingdom, when we do, He reverses the outside in formula whereby we are forced to conform and instead He begins to transform us internally by the power of the Spirit. It is the indwelling presence and power of the Spirit that enables us to become more Christ like.

As one early Christian writer put it God was determined to save us by persuasion and not by compulsion, for there is no compulsion found in God, His mission was no pursuit or hounding of us but an invitation. in this way step by step Christ builds the kind of kingdom that will last, the only kind worth living in forever.

Only God's Spirit can enable a man or woman to be born again into God's kingdom.
