 Chapter 5: Physician Day 1

The Name:

Jesus the greatest of all Physicians preformed more healings than any other kind of miracle. Nothing stumped Him, not blindness or craziness or lameness, deafness or even death. 

Every ailment yielded to His undeniable power and every healing served as evidence that His kingdom is breaking into our fallen world. 

Scripture sees sickness and death as biproducts of sin, and it was to solve the sin problem that Jesus came into this world. When you pray for healing remember that Jesus is always your allies. Always wanting what is best for you and for those that you care about. 

Key Scriptures:

Matthew 11:5 - The blind sees and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Luke 4:23 - He said to them, “You will surely say this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.’”

Father, 

    Thank You for this study. I ask that the study this week would sink in and mean something to me. 

    I know that You are the great healer and have our best interest in hand and I ask that in all your goodness and mercy that You heal me in all ways so I am not left to the mercy of my illnesses so much. I want to want life, but I am happy where I am and that is good enough for me. 

    Thank You for being our great healer and a blessing to our souls.
