Chapter 4: Bread of Life Day 5

Praying the Name:

John 6:53-58 - Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

Psalm 103 - Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, too such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them. The Lord has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules overall.  Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure. Bless the Lord, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Father,

I come to You with a heart of praise to You, Thank You for all life on earth, and forgive us for destroying the earth that You created. You alone are our provider and creator and must hate what You see the people doing to not only our physical earth but the spiritual lives of those living here. Specially the children. I praise You for giving these children life and beg You to take them out before the age of accountability.

Thank You for not only the physical daily bread that You give us but for the spiritual bread as well. You provide the sermons, studies, and things that You provide for one that stays home and does not leave for anything. I thank You for providing groceries to come to my home and the things that You provide to keep me connected to You.

I am sorry if I live for this world, I need to focus on teaching about You and I do that in 25 countries around the world. Help me to share You and salvation with many of my girls and to strengthen their walk for those that know You. I am so blessed that You gave me these girls to spend time sharing Your love with them too. Give me joy in my dolls and the sweaters but keep me standing for You in all that I do. I do not think the dolls come first, but keep them as my fun and my joy in the girls that I can share You with.

I know that I have life everlasting, and I want to move into the eternity with You in heaven and ask that soon You will come for us and take us home to You. I want to be there in heaven. I am so ready Father.

Thank You for a great study on who You are and how we must come to You as our Bread of Life.

In Jesus Name,

    Amen

Psalm 103:15-16 - As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.

Humanity is like the soon wilted grass, we are up to our neck in grassness. But unlike grass we bear the tragedy of our hearts knowing how short life is.

What can we do about it, do not dodge the truth take time today to deal with it head on. Think about the ways that death has already affected you. Then reflect on your own pending death, let it sink in shed some tears if you must.

Look at Psalm 103 again notice that it continues with hope but from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear Him.

In Jesus God became flesh everlasting love spreading across the widest canyons, across death itself and reaching towards us .

Jesus is heavens bread He is the answer to our grief the solutions to our problems, believe Him, listen to Him, feed on Him so that His life with reverse death's curse. Then proclaim with the apostle Paul Where is thy sting oh death, where is your victory?

The sting of death is sin, the power of sin is the law, but thanks be to God, He gives us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians  15:55-57 - “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
