 Chapter 26: I AM Day 1

The Name:

    In Jesus we have the riches most vivid picture of God imaginable no longer does God seem implacably remote displeased with the world He has made, instead He bends toward us, sharing our weaknesses and shouldering our burdens, through the perfect offering of His life He becomes our way back to the Father. He is the true vine in which we abide, bearing fruit for God's kingdom.  He is the loving God who will never abandon us, but who will be present with us always, leading us to live eternal?

Key Scriptures:

Exodus 3:13-14 -Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

John 8:57-58 -  Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

 Chapter 2: Light of the World Day 2 The Name Revealed!! John 1:3-9 -  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.    In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it.  There was a man sent from God, whose name  was  John.  This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.  He was not that Light but  was sent  to bear witness of that Light.  That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
